Meet The Founder
Meet Our Founder. A woman of many ideas and talents, Ijendu Korie founded Things N’ People due to her studies in mental health hygiene. As a psychiatrist she has seen an array of people in need who struggle with their daily individual maintenance. The decline in appearance largely due to their mental health struggles inspired her to provide a platform that both promotes mental health awareness and showcases a lifestyle where people can feel liberated through fashion and practical appliances. Her vision began with a team of her peers and it was entitled, Soul Klinic Foundation.
Soul Klinic Foundation was founded by a team of providers dedicated to the care and treatment of patients. The goal of the foundation is to alleviate human suffering by all possible means.
In pursuance of this goal they seek to extend care, including mental health services for people who are unable to afford it. Things N’ People helps to support that vision by funding the foundation and representing causes that aid in the awareness of mental health illnesses.

History
The “people” in the name Things and People refer to the clothes that will be sold, serving as the avenue of personal expression and embodiment. The brand crafts high-end contemporary fashion by infusing our cultural aesthetic into effortlessly chic apparel. Instead of a more form-fitted approach, Things and People tailoring focuses on the structure of a garment that compliments the silhouette of a woman's body through sculpted cuts and illusions. The clothes do not require styling to be wearable, they can be taken out of the closet and are ready to wear. It’s important that the clothing is eco-friendly, durable and high quality because she expects the clothing to be multi-use. The versatility of the clothes will also be in its ability to transition from day to night.
What about the “things” in the name Things and People? We will present non-clothing items. The “things” represent the items we feel will fulfill people’s lives by improving their personal space with interior design items and promote wholesome habits.
